- Are you backing up your important data every day?
- Do you ever backup your entire system?
- Do you have an off site data storage location?
- Do you know how to restore data from backups?
- Do you have redundant data (mirrored) drives?
- Do you have anti-virus software running in the background?
- Do you have anti-spyware software running in the background?
- Do you have virus/spyware scans scheduled to run each night?
- Are you updating the virus/spyware signature files each day?
- Are you applying security patches when they become available on the web?
- Do you have a hardware firewall?
- Do you have an applications firewall?
- Do you have anti-spam filtering for your email?
- Do you have another server/computer you can fail over to within an hour or two?
- Is there limited/locked access to your server/computer areas?
- Are your computers password protected?
- Is your wireless network using the highest level of encryption?
- Do you shred your out-dated documents?
